MAPThe group inextricably linked with the lives of every person
The theme of this work, Project Nick, centers around the concept of "the group," a concept that is inextricably linked with the lives of every person. Throughout their lives, all people form a variety of groups of which they are members, such as the family and work & school environments. We have tried to create a record of the personal connections between individuals, shown through calligraphy written together with friends, photos of friends holding calligraphy works, and the nicknames given to people by their friends. The work is depicted through a combination of photos and sound.
