Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1991. Mainly based in her hometown Ishinomaki. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in printing, Art Department, Tohoku University of Art and Design. She makes works in different methods such as drawing with a pen and copperplate prints. She combines animals’ bones in most of her works to make new animals, and constructs a new world of her own. She places her creatures in her living space and photographs them to mix reality and fiction while connecting her own worldview and the real world. She was awarded Good Work Prize at the 81st Prints Exhibition in 2013 and Good Work Prize at the 6th Yamamoto Kanae Print Grand Prix Competition in 2015.
