Tohru Nakazaki

Artist, born in 1976 in Ibaraki Prefecture. Earned full credits and withdrew from the Doctoral Degree Program at Musashino Art University. Currently based in Mito, Ibaraki. He has also been active as a member of Nadegata Instant Party, formed in late 2006. In late 2007 he helped found Playroom (Tohru Nakazaki + Mizuki Endo) and has been involved in its administration. Since 2011 he has been participating in the project FUKUSHIMA!, primarily as director of the visual art category. Major exhibitions include the Sapporo International Art Festival 2017 (Sapporo Odori 500-m Underground Walkway Gallery, Hokkaido) and “Big Sky Friendship” (Towada Art Center, Aomori).
